Actor of Deadpool and Wolverine Claims Film Contains “A Lot Of Jokes” About Boss Kevin Feige

Deadpool 3, one of the most anticipated films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, a.k.a. “Deadpool,” will return to theaters this summer and star Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Although fans are excited about the superhero trilogy, gags regarding Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige are predicted to be among the many shocks this time around. In a recent interview with Collider, actor Karan Soni—who will be seen as Deadpool’s sidekick Dopinder again—tipped off Collider to some intriguing surprises that will be in the movie.

He also said that there are many jokes in the movie regarding the MCU boss, implying that the Marvel movie, which is well-known for its meta-comedy, would probably repeat a similar tactic.

Saying, “I got the scene like the day before or whatever, and we walked into the sound stage, and he just appeared next to Hugh Jackman, and I was just like, I don’t know what’s happening,” Karan said that Feige had worked closely with Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds on the next movie. He was incredibly friendly and lovely, but it was pretty bizarre. He approached us and greeted us, mentioning the old films and other things, and he seemed thrilled about the whole thing.

In addition, the actor said that Ryan is calling him out a lot right now while discussing the humor in the movie. There are several jokes about Kevin. He has a great sense of humor, which is a must. That’s great, then.

The actor also expressed his gratitude for the third installment of Deadpool, which has been in development for a number of years.

“I can tell that, based on my little experience, I believe this movie will be pretty amazing. It’s absolutely worth seeing. Ryan is using the MCU to its fullest and tossing out all the toys,” Soni said.

In Deadpool & Wolverine, which opens in theaters on June 26, 2024, Hugh Jackman will make his comeback to the superhero genre as the film’s title character. In addition to Reynolds and Jackman, a number of other well-known actors are anticipated to return, including Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio.
