Actress Ayesha Jhulka files a high court motion demanding a trial for the murder of her dog

The actress Ayesha Jhulka, who starred in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, is petitioning the Bombay High Court to get justice for her slain dog, Rocky. Further rumors state that in 2020, her former caregiver murdered her dog.

Ayesha Jhulka’s housekeeper at her Lonavala villa said that her dog drowned in 2020. According to him, the dog drowned in the water tank and died. The actress submitted the corpse for a post-mortem since she had her doubts.

According to sources, the pet’s cause of death was determined to be strangulation or suffocation. Moreover, contrary to what was previously said, the evidence did not suggest that it has been drowning. Ayesha submitted a formal complaint for an inquiry into this situation on September 17, 2020. A few days later, the dog’s caregiver, Ram Nathu Andre, admitted to the police that he had strangled the animal while inebriated. On September 25, the police took him into custody. He was imprisoned. Nevertheless, after two days, he was given bail.

The Maval police filed a chargesheet in the case on January 7, 2021. The actress also complained that the public prosecutor is not doing enough to have a trial for the matter in a complaint she filed with the Directorate of Prosecution in Mumbai. The actress went to the High Court because she thought nothing was being done. The petition, submitted by attorney Harshad Garud, claims that despite the passage of four years, no trial has started in the case because the Magistrate Court has not yet taken the chargesheet into consideration.

According to other reports, the actress filed for a judicial intervention in February 2021; the magistrate court has not yet had a chance to consider her request. Additionally, a bloodstained bedsheet was sent to a forensic lab in Pune, but they were unable to get the result. It is said that Ayesha Jhulka’s legal team was informed that no employees arrived to pick up the report.

Ayesha Jhulka is a well-known figure from 90s Bollywood, having acted in movies like as Khiladi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Kurbaan, and many more. Her most recent appearance was in the online series Happy Family: Conditions Apply on Amazon Prime. She was seen with Raj Babbar, Atul Kulkarni, and Ratna Pathak Shah.
