Airlines Has Caused A 10-Hour Delay, Which Has Ranvir Shorey Furious: “I Started To Panic As It Would”

Actor Ravir Shorey, who starred in Khosla Ka Ghosla, recently took a jab at Indigo Airlines when his flight was delayed for almost ten hours. In a lengthy social media post, Ranvir detailed his terrifying experience, claiming that his 2 PM flight was delayed until midnight and that airline employees attempted to appease him by making false promises.

On X, previously Twitter, Ranvir Shorey posted the following: “A rough summary of what @IndiGo6E put us through yesterday: The time of our flight was 2 PM. It wasn’t until after the eight of us checked in two hours earlier than scheduled that we were told that the flight was three hours delayed because of poor weather (fog). Before we arrived at the airport, we were not informed. Despite this, we did not voice our complaints since we understood that these things sometimes occurred at this time of year and assumed there must have been a communication problem.

“The flight was now scheduled for 5 PM,” he said. After spending almost three hours checking in at the airport, we were informed at 3 PM that the flight would now take off three hours later at 8 PM! We found this suspicious since the “fog” ought to be lifting as the day goes on, not becoming worse. One of my companions checked our aircraft’s itinerary on the Indigo website. It was pretty evident that the plane that was scheduled to take us there was flying in from Kolkata, which had already reached Bangalore and had reported no problems with fog. When we brought this information up to the Indigo employees, he just said that the website had not been updated correctly and offered us his “personal guarantee” that the flight would depart at 8:00 PM. This was crucial for me since, if I didn’t return by 10:30 or 10:30 PM, my kid would be left alone at home. The flight time was adjusted to 9 PM at about 7 PM. I started to worry since this would put me in a difficult position as a parent, but I handled the matter and didn’t complain.

The article went on to say, “We were informed at 8 PM that the flight will now depart after 10 PM! I lost my temper at this point since I knew I wouldn’t be able to get home in time to see my kid! I got in touch with the employee who had provided me with his “personal guarantee” that the aircraft would depart at 8:00 p.m. On the phone, he informed me that he had left the airport (!), that an other employee would handle my case, and that he would not reveal the true cause for the flight’s further delay or the time of takeoff! In an attempt to appease me, the new employee put in charge of me used the standard airline cliches and falsehoods. I informed him that would no longer work with me since it was clear that the delay was not caused by fog. Instead of using him as an airline spokesman, I made an appeal to his moral character as a person. It wasn’t until he made many calls that he revealed to us the true reason—that is, the fact that they were flying without a pilot! He gave me the assurance that the aircraft would depart by 10:30 PM and that a pilot has now been assigned. I was feeling quite powerless at this point. We’d been given falsehoods for the previous eight hours, and we were in a desperate position, so I somehow arranged for someone to babysit my kid. After that, we had to endure two to three more hours of falsehoods and delays before a pilot eventually appeared and our flight took off at approximately midnight, which was ten hours later than planned! We want to lodge a grievance on the anguish inflicted upon us by @IndiGo6E yesterday, all in the name of air travel.

Radhika Apte posted a terrifying video of herself being imprisoned in an aerobridge at the Mumbai airport only a few days ago. She is seen imprisoned, along with a number of other passengers, when the aircraft does not depart on time. Radhika Apte posted the images and pictures on social media. In response, a large number of admirers have also recounted similar experiences.

Radhika posted pictures and a video on her Instagram account showing her waiting with her pals. “This has to be posted! I had a flight at 8:30 this morning. The flight has not yet boarded as of 10:50. However, the aircraft announced that we were boarding, ushered everyone onto the aerobridge, and then LOCKED IT! The elderly and those with tiny children have been trapped in for more than an hour. The doors are unopenable by the security. The employees are really clueless! It seems that their crew has not yet boarded. The staff changed, and they are still waiting for new personnel, but nobody knows when they will show up, thus nobody knows how long they will remain confined. I briefly got away to talk to the very foolish staff member outside, who insisted that there was no problem or delay even though I was now trapped inside. They also informed us that we would be confined in here until at least 12 p.m. No toilet, no water. “Thank you for the enjoyable journey!” the caption said.
