Bawaal, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, was highly praised by Hansal Mehta. He called it a “sweet film.”

Hansal posted on Twitter, saying, “I thought Bawaal was a very beautiful movie. has the best intentions at heart. Even if portions of the conversation uses analogies from the second world war that seem out of place, it still makes you laugh, weep, smile, and enjoy yourself. Never does the aim seem out of place. Watch the movie. Janhvi Kapoor has recently come under fire from Lisa Ray for equating love with Auschwitz. In a discussion, the actress says, “Har rishta apne-apne Auschwitz se guzarta hai.”

Janhvi thanked the audience for their support of the movie earlier in the day. Ajay Dixit, also known as Ajju (Varun Dhawan), a small-town high school history teacher, and his newlywed wife Nisha (Janhvi Kapoor), plan to travel across Europe on a Second World War trail by stopping in Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany as a result of an event in Ajju’s life. The pair, who already has a tense marriage, tries to hold on despite a string of occasions that challenge their love and force them to confront their issues. World War II serves as both the story’s setting and a metaphor that Tiwari employs well.

Varun’s next film appearance will be in Citadel, which also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He is collaborating with Atlee on an action thriller that will be released the following year. While Janhvi Kapoor has begun filming for Ulajh and will soon be seen in Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. The movie, billed as a patriotic thriller, was made by Junglee Pictures and directed by National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria. Roshan Mathew and Gulshan Devaih are also present.
