Beginning of ‘Singham Again’ filming announced by Rohit Shetty

‘Singham Again’ director Rohit Shetty revealed on Saturday that filming has begun.

The film, a sequel to “Singham Returns,” is the third entry in the Ajay Devgn-starrer series and a part of the director’s new “Cop Universe.”

The director of “Golmaal: Fun Unlimited” posted on Instagram to announce the start of filming for “Singham,” “Singham Returns,” “Simmba,” and “Sooryavanshi.” When we created “Singham” twelve years ago, we never imagined it would develop into a Cop Universe. We started shooting Singham Again today, the fifth movie in our police series.

He closed his tweet by pleading for the audience’s help and writing: “ISME HUM APNI JAAN LAGA DENGE! DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI OR BAS AAPKE PYAAR! We shall expend our flesh and blood for this; in order to succeed, we need your love and blessings.

Along with stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, the filmmaker participated in a puja ceremony to officially launch the movie.

In his studio, Rohit Shetty started the ritual by igniting the diya and praying to Lord Shiva for the success of his movie.

Supercop Ajay Devgn uploaded a photo on the X account (previously Twitter) with the caption: “12 years ago, we gave Indian Cinema its greatest cinematic Cop Universe. With all the love we have gotten over the years, the Singham family has grown and the power has become stronger. We have gathered here to advance our brand with “Singham Again.”

Ranveer Singh, who performed the role of Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s police universe and participated in the mahurat on Saturday, shared a photo of himself praying on Instagram. “All prepared to return as SIMMBA in #SinghamAgain, one of my favorite characters from the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe! We ask for your support and blessings as we embark on this new path, he captioned the photo.

There are plans for Akshay Kumar, who just wrapped shooting “OMG 2,” to star in the movie as well. The actor went to his X account to explain why he couldn’t attend the event since he wasn’t in India at the time: “Not in the country at the moment, absent from the frame in person but absolutely there in spirit. I can’t wait to join you on the #SinghamAgain sets! My finest wishes are sent. I salute Mahakaal.

After “Singham,” “Singham Returns,” “Simmba,” and “Sooryavanshi,” Rohit Shetty’s police world, popularly known as the police Cinematic world, has produced “Singham Again.”

Jackie Shroff and Deepika Padukone are also featured in the movie. According to reports, Arjun Kapoor will also appear in the movie.
