Day 23 Box Office Collection for Swatantrya Veer Sawarkar vs. Madgaon Express: Kunal Kemmu Film To Join Rs. 30 Crore Club

Two high-grossing films, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan, have not affected the viewership of Madgaon Express and Swatantrya Veer Sawarkar.

Bollywood saw the premiere of Randeep Hooda’s directorial debut, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, on March 22. Madgaon Express, directed by Kunal Kemmu, was released simultaneously. Even though both movies are fierce competitors, Madgaon Express is now ahead by a narrow margin.

Early estimates from Sacnilk indicate that both movies are still doing well and are steadily approaching the Rs 30 crore milestone at the domestic box office. The comedy-drama starring Kunal Kemmu brought in a total of Rs 24.6 crore, with earnings of Rs 0.7 crore.

But as the days went by, the competition between the films remained constant. As of today, the 23rd day, the total collection for Randeep Hooda’s biopic is Rs 28.27 crore, with earnings of Rs 0.42 crore.
