Doja Cat Asks Fans To Leave Her “Explicit” Songs at Home, Declaring That They Are Not For Kids

Fans of Doja Cat’s songs are often aware of its graphic nature. The rapper-singer’s songs contain everything—from unusual sounds and provocative attire to lyrics about love and sex! The 28-year-old is mindful of the fact that her music isn’t appropriate for young listeners, as seen by her most recent X post. Doja Cat discussed the sexual nature of her music on social media and emphasized that it is not appropriate for young listeners. She did not disclose the cause for the tweets, seeming to be furious over some recent occurrences.

She commented, “I don’t make music for kids, so leave your kids at home. Idk what you think this is.” Doja questioned why parents bring their young children to the event and addressed the level of explicitness in her songs in the tweets that followed.

Her supporters also sent a range of remarks in response to the tweets, many of which expressed agreement. “You have a parental advisory content label on your albums for a reason,” one person said, while another said, “Well, your records have a parental badge on them. It need to convey something to them.

“Superstars shouldn’t be in charge of watching what your kids eat. Another admirer said, “As a parent, that’s YOUR job.”

Some even refuted her claims, emphasizing that the majority of Doja’s listeners are younger people. “Music speaks to people of all ages and is a global language. Making work that speaks to a variety of audiences is crucial, someone said.

Notably, Doja Cat has been preparing for her abroad Scarlet Tour at the same time as these tweets. In 2023, she made her first appearance on the Scarlet Tour in four years. It started on October 31, San Francisco’s Halloween. Later, before concluding her tour in Chicago in December, she played all across the United States, including New York City, Detroit, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, and Boston.

She returned to music on Sunday, April 14, and then again on April 21 after Coachella 2022. She made a name for herself at this period with her daring acts and provocative attire.

The singer is scheduled to host a number of radio events in the next days, including Hot 97’s Summer Jam, before traveling to Europe to play in other gigs and festivals in England, Amsterdam, Italy, and other locations.
