Farzi 2 Will ‘Definitely Happen,’ Says Shahid Kapoor

One of the Bollywood actors who adapted to the development of OTT among Indian consumers is Shahid Kapoor. Shahid dominated the digital world with smash hits like Farzi and Bloody Daddy, leaving fans clamoring for more. A fan recently questioned him at an event about whether he has yet to sign any other OTT projects. Although Shahid said he has no upcoming OTT projects, he would return for the second season of his popular series Farzi.

Shahid said at Pinkvilla’s Masterclass, “Free me dekhna hai? What is the purpose of the theater? Toh kharch karaunga, toh. (Would you want to see it without charge? Want to get theater tickets on the cheap? I’ll force you to make at least a little investment.

So, of course, Farzi’s second season will air, he said. The reaction was astounding, I mean. Additionally, the way the narrative ended left room for a lot more to occur because of how open-ended it was. It didn’t feel like a climax. Farzi 2 will thus happen, and if there is anything else that I want, I will do it. However, as of right now, I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT since I had two releases this year. As a result, I’m going to work on some projects for theaters. But Farzi 2 will undoubtedly take place.

Shahid Kapoor made his OTT debut in Farzi. The dark humor criminal thriller, which was directed by Raj and DK, also starred Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, and Bhuvan Arora in significant parts. A little earlier this year, in February, the series was made available on Amazon Prime Video.

Shahid will next be seen with Kriti Sanon in his forthcoming, as-yet-untitled film. The romantic comedy movie, which Dinesh Vijan is producing under the Maddock Studios label, is slated for release during the Valentine’s Day weekend in 2024.
