How TVF’s Jitendra Kumar Went From IIT To Panchayat To Become The OTT Sensation

Many artists are making a name for themselves in Indian film in the age of over-the-top (OTT) platforms. The web series industry is booming, and filmmakers, writers, actors, and artists are taking advantage of the possibilities it presents. One exceptional talent in this field is Jitendra Kumar, often known as Jeetu Bhaiya.

Thanks to his captivating roles in a number of web series and movies, Jitendra Kumar has won over the hearts of the general public. Jitendra’s career began when Sarkar encouraged him to join TVF in 2012. Jitendra was involved in several TVF sketch videos, some of which went on to become quite successful on YouTube and had over 30 lakh views.

Jitendra Kumar’s big break came via his part in the online series Pitchers on TVF. His subsequent role in the critically acclaimed online series Kota Factory, as an IIT coaching instructor, strengthened his reputation even further. But Panchayat, the online series, was what really changed his career. The first season of the program, which aired in 2020, was a big hit, with Jitendra’s character, Abhishek Tripathi, being well-known and bringing back fond memories for fans.

His success spread to the big screen, with Jitendra starring in the film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Fans are now excitedly awaiting the release of Panchayat’s third season on Amazon Prime, which many believed was going to happen on January 15. This solidifies Jitendra Kumar’s standing as a well-known and adaptable artist in the OTT market.
