In ‘KBC 15’, Amitabh Bachchan tells the story of his encounter with a frog

Now, Big B revealed a humorous story about his brush with a frog as a youngster in episode 22 of the quiz-based reality program.

Ishita Goyal of Mandi Dabwali, Haryana, won the competition for the quickest finger first, earning her a spot on the jury.

She was asked, “Which of these animals catches its prey by using its tongue?” for the Rs. 3,000 question. The choices were: Frog, Shark, Cat, and Kite. Ishita provided the correct response, which was frog, after utilizing the audience vote as a last resort.

Big B explained the solution as follows: “A frog’s tongue is distinctive. It can swiftly put out its tongue and collect insects. The tongue is sticky to properly grab the prey. Therefore, the prey becomes attached to their tongue and is consumed by the frog.

The 80-year-old actor reflected on a boyhood encounter with Mr. Mendhak (the frog) while living in Allahabad, saying: “Once, I got in touch with Mr. Mendhak (the frog) also. Summers used to be quite warm. We used to spread our blankets out on the grass and sleep outside at night.

“When I was a child, my hand escaped from the bed. A frog suddenly appeared and decided it would make good food. I then realized that a frog extends its tongue at that point. Since then, I’ve exercised caution. I kept my hand in my pocket and never extended it, he continued.
