In response to Shekhar Suman’s criticism, Adhyayan Suman remembers his Bollywood debut, saying, “It was a blunder, not a debut.”

As he prepares for his next web series, “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” Adhyayan Suman finds himself in the limelight, reflecting on his Bollywood debut in contrast to his father’s frank criticism.

Shekhar Suman expressed his doubts about Adhyayan’s early foray into the film business in a recent interview with Mashable India, saying he is too young for the competitive Bollywood scene. He expressed dissatisfaction with the movie that was selected for Adhyayan’s premiere, feeling that it did not adequately showcase his son’s abilities.

Adhyayan gave his viewpoint, remembering how his weight problems first prevented him from pursuing acting and instead inspired him to become a filmmaker. His destiny was eventually changed by an unplanned meeting with Ajay Devgn, which resulted in talks with producer Kumar Mangat and his first film chance.

Shekhar expressed his initial reservations and suggested that Adhyayan hold off on taking advantage of the chance, but Adhyayan, impatient, did not listen. But after giving the first idea some thought, he realized that it didn’t fully highlight his ability and only gave him a little amount of screen time.
Shekhar called the first encounter a “blunder,” stressing the gap between what people think and what really happens. He encouraged Adhyayan to keep going and honor his promises in the face of difficulty despite the setback.

In 2008, Adhyayan made his feature film debut opposite Amita Pathak and Nakuul Mehta in “Haal-E-Dil.” The movie, which was directed by Anil Devgan, Ajay Devgn’s cousin, bombed at the box office.
