In that tweet, he said that he was releasing Star as an homage to Stills Pandian, his father. The post was titled “Star from Tomorrow” by him. “STILLS PANDIAN” is the movie I dedicate to my father. I humbly ask that you refrain from revealing the three delightful surprises from STAR when you view it tomorrow. I really want everyone to have their own experience since I’m an artist. I’m grateful.

Elan claims in his social media tweets that the film has three shocks. He requests that spectators keep the shocks to themselves and refrain from sharing them with others. Director Elan uploaded a picture of himself and his father on this post. His father is seen holding and sitting next to him in the picture. Elan is decked out like a king, complete with a turban, pearl necklace, and fake mustache.
