On Thursday, the first image of Telugu actor Nagarjuna Akkineni from the forthcoming film Kubera, which is helmed by Sekhar Kammula, was released. During the Indian Premier League (IPL) game between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals on May 2, the first glimpse appeared on television. In it, seasoned actor Nagarjuna is seen holding an umbrella and exuding mystery while standing in a storm.

Truckloads of liquid wealth surround him, signifying the title of the movie, Kubera. He seems to be wearing glasses at first glance and is well attired in a blue shirt and slacks on the billboard. Prior to this, the crowd responded with excitement at Dhanush’s first glimpse from the movie. Dhanush appears in the ad as a beggar with unkempt hair and clothing.

Further details about the movie
Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna play significant roles in Kubera as well. Under the auspices of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas and Amigos Creations Private Limited, Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are producing the movie together. Filming is happening concurrently in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

The film also represents Dhanush and the director’s first joint venture. Famous Telugu cinema directors Sekhar Kammula has helmed films like Godavari, Happy Days, and Love Story.

In addition to Kubera, Nagarjuna is slated to feature in an untitled Mohan Raja project. Significant parts are also set for Trisha Krishnan, Radhika Madan, Akhil Akkineni, and Vivek Oberoi. The next movie, according to IMDb, is about five assassins—Nagarjuna, Trisha, Vivek, Akhil, and Radhika—who discover that their missions have a similar thread while traveling at a high rate of speed on a catamaran.
