Despite coming from a wealthy film family, Sohail Khan, the brother of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, has not had a particularly noteworthy film career. Throughout his 17-year career, he was unable to produce even one successful picture on his own. In the end, he had to avoid movies.

‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’, which starring Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Dharmendra, and Kajol in the key roles, was directed, written, and produced by Sohail Khan in 1998. At the box office, it was a financial triumph. For this movie, veteran actor Dharmendra performed without any payment.

Made for more over Rs 7 crore, “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya” brought in Rs 33.36 crore at the box office, solidifying Sohail Khan’s position as a filmmaker.

After making appearances in “Karan Arjun” (1995) and “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” (1998), both of which featured Kajol in a love coupling with Shah Rukh Khan, the film marks Salman Khan and Kajol’s first and only joint project.

Salman Khan made his shirtless appearance in the movie “Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya” for the song “O O Jaane Jaana.” One of Salman Khan’s most popular songs ever, the song went on to become a cult classic.

‘Maine Dil Tujhko Diya’ was the film in which Sohail Khan made his acting debut in 2002. However, the film was a commercial failure, and he received a major blow when he entered the Bollywood industry. In addition, his first five films were box office failures despite his best efforts.

From 2002 until 2019, Sohail Khan’s 17-year career was a complete failure. He didn’t produce a single successful movie. So, after failing miserably at acting, he gave producing a go. He is still producing movies now via his production company, Sohail Khan Productions.

The Bollywood actor Sohail Khan is from a household where his father Salim Khan was a seasoned scriptwriter who helped other artists, including Amitabh Bachchan, succeed. Salman Khan, the brother of Sohail Khan, has ruled Bollywood for the last thirty years at the same time.
