On February 18, Sonarika Bhadoria and her fiancé Vikas Parashar are scheduled to tie the knot

Sonarika Bhadoria, who gained fame for portraying Goddess Parvati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, is getting ready to tie the wedding with Vikas Parashar, his fiancé. In 2022, Sonarika and Vikas—a businessman by trade—got engaged. They have chosen February 18 for their wedding ceremony. The major event is reportedly scheduled to happen in Sawai Madhopur Ranthambore.

Sonarika said to Etimes that she and Vikas have been dating for almost eight years. “It was just the two of us when he proposed to me in May 2022 in the Maldives,” she said. Our relatives wanted to join in the celebration, but they were also really pleased for us. Whereas I like things basic, Vikas likes things big. Our passion for the beach led us to have a roka ceremony in Goa. Originally offered at a beach wedding, we ultimately decided on Sawai Madhopur after making many beach trips, bearing in mind Vikas’s large extended family as well as his personal family.

According to Sonarika, the wedding celebrations would begin with Mata Chowki in Mumbai around 15 days before to the big day, and there would be five activities in all. “On February 16, we will perform the Maira ritual, and then we will have mehndi in the evening,” she said. The next day is the haldi ceremony, and we’ll have a cocktail party turned sangeet in the evening.

She also said that Vikas’ hometown of Faridabad will host the reception. Sonarika said, “We have planned a reception in Faridabad since we can’t accommodate so many people at the wedding and since almost half the town knows Vikas and his family.”

The actress had already announced her engagement on social media. She posted pictures of herself and her fiancé Vikas Parashar on a gorgeous beach, where he proposed. On Vikas’ birthday, the actor made the announcement along with a lengthy statement for him. In the pictures, Vikas proposed to Sonarika when they were both wearing white on a beach. It was a beautiful moment.

In 2011, Sonarika Bhadoria made her screen debut in Tum Dena Saath Mera. In the film Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, which featured Mohit Raina as Lord Shiva, she became well-known as Goddess Parvati. The actor debuted in Telugu film in 2015 with Jadoogadu. In 2018, she made a comeback to Hindi television, most notably in the show Ishq Mein Marjawan.
