On March 27, YouTuber Elvish will appear in court in Gurugram

On March 27, Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, will appear in court in Gurugram over an assault charge involving Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern, a fellow YouTuber. He has been ordered to appear in court on March 27 by Harsh Kumar, Judicial Magistrate (First Class), Gurugram, regarding the application of the production warrant that the Gurugram police issued for him.

The police filed an application in court on Wednesday to get Elvish Yadav’s production warrant in the assault case that was reported on March 8 at the Sector 53 police station, according to Inspector Rajender Kumar, SHO of the station.

The court sent the directive to the Noida prison administration. Inspector Kumar said that Elvish Yadav would be brought before the Gurugram court on March 27 by the Uttar Pradesh police, after which the Gurugram police will place him on police remand so that he may be questioned.

Sagar Thakur, a YouTuber, was seen being thrashed by Elvish Yadav on March 8 in a video that showed Elvish slapping and throwing Sagar to the ground. At the Sector 53 police station, a FIR was filed against Elvish Yadav and others in response to Thakur’s accusation.

He had received a notification from the Gurugram police to participate in the inquiry. Elvish, meantime, had uploaded an explanation video in which he said that Sagar had orchestrated the whole scenario. According to the authorities, he then posted another video from his social media account, apologized, and posted a picture of himself and Sagar with the comment, “brotherhood on top.”

Elvish Yadav refused to cooperate with the police inquiry after receiving two notifications from the Gurugram police. He was supposed to start the probe on March 18, but the Noida police had him taken into custody the day before. Yadav will now appear in court in Gurugram on March 27.
