On the 106th anniversary of his birth, Hrithik Roshan writes a letter to his “Daduji” Roshan

In the wee hours of Friday, actor Hrithik Roshan sent a lengthy letter to honour his late grandpa, music director Roshan, on the occasion of his 106th birthday.
With the comment “Today marks the 106th birth anniversary of my Daduji – Roshan, whose name I inherit,” Hrithik uploaded a vintage photo on Instagram. Although I never had the pleasure of knowing him, learning from him, or personally feeling his affection, I am fortunate to have his work—his music—which is a valuable gift. Through their creativity, legends have a way of transcending time. I am really pleased to be descended from him and his exceptional genealogy since his songs are the cornerstone of the Roshan family’s journey.

The songs “Khayalon mein Kisike,” “Main Dil Hoon Ek Armaan Bhara,” “Na toh karvaan ki talaash hai,” “Aapne Yaad Dilaya,” “Laaga Chunari Mein Daag,” and many more were well recognised for Roshan.

“Celebrating my Daduji’s eternal legacy via one of his songs, which is one of my favourites. I’m much more happy with this song since my Daduji was never around to enjoy it. He died not long after he made this outstanding tune. The caption ended, “He was 40 years old.
Fans immediately swamped the comment area with red hearts and fire emojis after he published the article.

“Roshan Legacy,” a supporter said.
“He was such a great composer that generations can learn the pure music by his outstanding work,” another admirer said.

One admirer remarked, “My mum was and still is a lover of his art.
Roshan, the father of the filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and the music director Rajesh Roshan, died in 1967.

Speaking about the ‘Krrish’ actor’s forthcoming projects, he will next be seen with Deepika Padukone in the upcoming aerial action thriller movie ‘Fighter’.
The Siddharth Anand-directed movie is scheduled to premiere on January 25, 2024.
In addition, he stars in “War 2” with Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani.
