On the sixth day, Shaitaan mints Rs 6.25 crore, bringing India one step closer to the Rs 100 crore mark

Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan, is doing very well at the box office since its March 8 release. The eerie film’s remarkable plot and outstanding performances have caused a stir at the box office. It is now on its sixth day and just a few centimeters away from reaching the Rs 100 crore mark. After his thriller dramas Drishyam 2 and Bholaa, this is Devgn’s third film in a row to break the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office since COVID-19.

Shaitaan, a supernatural horror film, reportedly made Rs 14.75 crore on its first day of sales. It earned an additional Rs 18.75 crore net on Saturday. It brought in Rs 21 crore on Sunday and Rs 7.25 crore on Monday. It had business of Rs 6.50 crore on Tuesday. The first earnings for Wednesday, the sixth day, have now been made public and total Rs 6.25 crore. Sacnilk.com reports that the film has made almost Rs 80 crore in India since its premiere and Rs 20 crore in five days abroad.

The horror thriller is the third Hindi film to achieve this milestone this year, after Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone film Fighter. The sixth Indian movie of 2024 to reach the $100 billion global box office milestone is Shaitaan.

Scary films have seldom been this successful at the box office, and Shaitaan is already making waves in the community. Both reviewers and viewers have given the film’s narrative, which revolves on black magic, favorable ratings. In it, Jyotika plays Jyoti, Madhavan plays Vanraaj Kashyap, Janki Bodiwala plays Jahnvi, and Ajay Devgn plays Kabeer.

Under the auspices of Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios, Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak are producing Shaitaan. Directed by Queen filmmaker Vikas Bahl, it is a Hindi version of the Gujarati film Vash.
