Paresh Rawal Declares That He Is ‘Scared’ Of Hera Pheri 3, Welcome 3: The audience has been kept waiting too long

In Bollywood, Paresh Rawal is regarded as one of the top comedic performers. He is hailed as a maestro of the genre for his portrayal of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the popular comedy Hera Pheri. In the Phir Hera Pheri sequel from 2006, Paresh played the same character once again. But a third installment in the series has long been requested by his followers.

Paresh Rawal said he is quite “nervous” about the upcoming Hera Pheri 3 film even though it is in production. Paresh is “scared” that the movie won’t live up to the audience’s expectations since it won’t be released for many years.

Of course there is excitement, but there is also a lot of worry, he said to Pinkvilla. I sometimes worry that the finished work won’t turn out the way I had envisioned. We have expectations, but the audience has more expectations than we have. They had been patiently waiting for Hera Pheri and Welcome for far too long. Therefore, I am afraid.

Although Hera Pheri hasn’t been formally confirmed, Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty are reportedly returning to their roles from the adored franchise. Paresh will also appear in the third episode of Welcome, another one of his wildly successful comic series.

The release date for Welcome 3 or Welcome to the Jungle was revealed last month on September 9, Akshay Kumar’s birthday. Directed by Ahmad Khan, the film will also star stellar performers such as Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yashpal Sharma and Raveena Tandon among others.

The Akshay Kumar-starring movie is slated to open in theaters some time in December 2024.
