Pearl V. Puri acknowledges that he is single, saying, “I’m not in a rush to get married, but I do feel the void of a companion.” (Exclusive)

With Yaariyan 2, Pearl V Puri transitioned from television to the big screen last year. The actor is not unhappy with how his Bollywood debut turned out, despite the movie’s poor box office performance. “I feel bad, but it’s fate,” Pearl remarks. Gussa nahi aata mujhe. Throughout the last year, I can’t recall ever being furious. I have a strong sense of enthusiasm for the things I do and always do my hardest.
“I’ve been starving for nine days.”
Pearl fled his Agra home thirteen years ago in order to pursue a career in show business.

“My father was against my going into acting. I spent all of my money as soon as I arrived in Mumbai. I was barely making ends meet. I recall having supper at a pani puri stand on Veera Desai Road. I’d go hungry all day. Then there was the day I ran out of money even for pani puri. I went nine days without food. Thank goodness, I received a check for Rs 5,000 for an advertisement I created,” the actor remarks.
When Pearl landed the main part in Phir Bhi Na Maane… Badtameez Dil two years after making his television acting debut in Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat in 2013, there was no turning back.

“When I fall in love, I give it everything I have.”
Regarding her private life, Pearl is unmarried. “I give my 100% when I am in love, so I want to be sure about the person before getting into a relationship,” he responds when you ask him whether he misses having a partner. I have been experiencing that emptiness lately, but I’m not in a rush. My mother wants me to get married and raise a family, but I am more focused on my new film career.
