Preity Zinta Remembers Yash Johar With A Heartfelt Remark, Calling Kal Ho Naa Ho The “Saddest Happy Film”

Kal Ho Na Ho, starring Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, and Shah Rukh Khan, is one of their most adored and talked-about movies to date. Three friends are seen in the movie in a love triangle that is based on mutual respect and sacrifice. Preity, who portrayed the movie’s major female character Naina, went to social media on Tuesday to mark the film’s 20th anniversary and sent a heartfelt message.

Kal Ho Naa Ho was the happiest sad movie she has ever worked on, according to her. “I made the saddest happy film ever, Kal Ho Naa Ho.” Nothing will ever bring back those moments, and I will always be grateful to Yash Uncle for creating such a fantastic movie. That was his last visit to the set. Yash Uncle, no one will ever be like you ❤️ When you departed, a little bit of my heart went with you. I shall always be reminded of you by this movie. My sincerest gratitude to you for everything. I adore you and I always will,” she wrote.

In the movie, Preity portrayed Naina, a shy, melancholy girl who fell in love with her neighbor Aman (Shah Rukh Khan). Karan Johar, meanwhile, also sent a touching message on social media.

Karan said that he still watches the movie, recalling that it was the last production in which his father, Yash Johar, from the Dharma family, was involved. “This movie has taken me on such an emotional trip, and if I’ve gathered over the years, maybe it has for all of us. Kudos to the whole cast and crew behind the camera for keeping Kal Ho Naa Ho alive and strong in everyone’s hearts, and for bringing together such a brilliant ensemble with a plot that has a throbbing heart. This, for me, was the final movie in which my father appeared as a member of the Dharma family.and when I view it again even now, it still seems strange to have him in every shot. We are grateful to you, Papa, for always being there for us and for creating meaningful tales.and for always upholding morality. You will always be missed by me.

Many others discussed how the movie was ingrained in their memories in the comments section.
