Preity Zinta Remembers Yash Johar With A Heartfelt Remark, Calling Kal Ho Naa Ho The “Saddest Happy Film”

Kal Ho Na Ho, starring Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, and Shah Rukh Khan, is one of their most adored and talked-about movies to date. Preity, who portrayed the movie’s major female character Naina, went to social media on Tuesday to mark the film’s 20th anniversary and sent a heartfelt message.

In the movie, Preity portrayed Naina, a shy, melancholy girl who fell in love with her neighbor Aman (Shah Rukh Khan). Karan Johar, meanwhile, also sent a touching message on social media.

Karan said that he still watches the movie, recalling that it was the last production in which his father, Yash Johar, from the Dharma family, was involved. “This movie has taken me on such an emotional trip, and if I’ve gathered over the years, maybe it has for all of us. Kudos to the whole cast and crew behind the camera for keeping Kal Ho Naa Ho alive and strong in everyone’s hearts, and for bringing together such a brilliant ensemble with a plot that has a throbbing heart.
