Ranbir Kapoor, who is on the Ramayana set, is missing Raha and is constantly video calling his daughter. – Exclusive

For about three weeks, Ranbir Kapoor has been filming nonstop for Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayana. Known for being a hands-on parent, the actor often makes video calls to his daughter Raha while on site since he misses her terribly. Ranbir has been putting in a lot of effort, covering both day and night hours for the movie, while his daughter, Alia Bhatt, stays at home.

“He keeps making calls from the set, and we have seen it; he misses Raha,” an insider told ETimes. So, anytime he has a moment, he heads to his truck to give her a call, or simply to chat or have a peek at her. What a devoted dad.”

Even though there was a stringent no-phone policy, several unit members were startled at how photos got out. Now there is more awareness.

Ranbir recently made an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, during which he said that all he wanted to do was spend time with Raha and continue to stare at her. He also claimed that, other from Alia, Raha likes to sleep well and enjoys playing with him.

With around 70 days remaining for filming Ramayana, Ranbir has a full schedule of shootings on many sets at the Film City studio. Before the monsoon arrives, the crew hopes to wrap up shooting in Film City and go to London to shoot the Lankan half of the movie.
