The well-known Bollywood actress Saira Banu reminisced about her celebrations with her late husband, the late star Dilip Kumar, and her recollections of Eid. Banu gave a preview of their happy Eid festivities on Instagram, replete with old photos from her wedding to the well-known “Deedar” performer, in a poignant post.

When Banu thought back on her childhood, she remembered how she and her brother, Sultan Bhai, were lucky enough to be exposed to the diversity of cultures and celebrate holidays with enthusiasm, regardless of their ethnicity or religious beliefs. After finishing their schooling in London, they returned to India and assiduously assimilated into Mumbai’s dynamic social fabric, looking forward to Eid every year.

After Banu married Dilip Saheb, Eid had a new meaning for her. Their house became the center of celebration, drawing friends and acquaintances from all walks of life and the business. With the home decked up like a garden straight out of a fairy tale, complete with flower arrangements and music resonating down the hallways, Banu created a vivid image of their Eid festivities.

Visitors flocked in, greeted with open arms by Dilip Kumar, who loved the down to earth and kind personalities. As visitors mingled in the garden, the scent of biryani and kheer filled the kitchen. Their get-togethers wouldn’t be complete without the mesmerizing sounds of classical music.

Banu thanked their friends for the treasured memories and hoped that they would continue to be blessed with harmony, health, and tranquility. She ended her message with sincere wishes for a Happy Eid as she reminisced about the special times.
