Shah Rukh Khan Get Y+ Security Due to Death Threats

The Mumbai Police has given Shah Rukh Khan additional Y+ protection as a result of their worries over the death threats he has received as a result of the popularity of his most recent films, “Pathaan” and “Jawan.” He reported these threats to the authorities, and they decided to increase his protection.

Shah Rukh Khan will be followed by a group of armed security guards who will make sure he is secure at all times under the newly offered Y+ security cover. His prior security detail was just two people, so this is a substantial expansion.

Shah Rukh Khan will now walk with a total of 11 security officers as part of his increased protection. Six commandos, four police officers, and a special traffic clearing vehicle make up this unit. Police officers will also post themselves at the actor’s home, Mannat.

Security measures will be in place until high-level and review committees make further recommendations and decisions, and security staff will be paid on a salary basis.

How come Shah Rukh requested Y+ security?

In a formal protest to the Maharashtra state government, the actor requested more protection, expressing his concerns about the threats he had been getting in the wake of his successive blockbuster releases.

Khan’s worries prompted the Maharashtra government to act right away. Orders were given to all police commissionerates, district police, and special protection units (SPUs) by the Maharashtra State Intelligence Department. The goal was to instantly provide Shah Rukh Khan Y+ category security.

Shah Rukh Khan has already had similar security worries. He also got death threats back in 2010 with the release of his movie “My Name Is Khan.” The monthly cost of the Y+ security package is 15 lakh rupees. It is provided by the Maharashtra government in line with its policies. In such circumstances, people are required to make a payment or make a security deposit for their safety.
