Sidharth Malhotra grooves to “Raataan Lambiyan” and “Kala Chashma” at the WPL 2024 Opening Ceremony
Actor Sidharth Malhotra lit up the stage on Friday at the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 Opening Ceremony at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium with an electrifying dance performance.
Beginning his performance from the Delhi Capitals dug-out was the actor from “Shershaah.”
Hit tunes Kukkad, Raatsan Lambiyan, Kala Chashmah, and Let’s Nacho were playing in his head as he grooved.
The WPL’s second season premiere ceremony is a star-studded event.
In addition to Sidharth, stars King Khan, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, and Shahid Kapoor Shah Rukh Khan gave a performance during the first event as well.
The Women’s Premier League (WPL) saw its second season begin with a thrilling tournament opening in Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium between the reigning champion Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Delhi Capitals, last year’s runners-up.
Delhi will be eager to get beyond the heartache of losing to Mumbai in the finals of last year’s event and win the gold, thus their initial match may be the ideal way to start the proceedings. After dominating international cricket Australia across the globe, Meg Lanning would have her sights set on the gold, trying to claim the newest championship title of women’s franchise cricket.
The competition, which is being hosted in Bengaluru and Delhi, will run till March 17.
The eliminator is scheduled for March 15 and the summit match is scheduled for March 17 in New Delhi. Bengaluru and Delhi will serve as the tournament hosts.
