Speaking Up About Her Interment Next to Elvis Presley, Priscilla Presley

Actress Priscilla Presley has expressed her want to be buried next to her ex-husband Elvis Presley at Graceland.

According to “People” magazine, the 78-year-old actress spoke candidly about the struggles the Presley family has had recently on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” adding that it was important to her that her last resting place be at the Memphis estate’s Meditation Garden.

“My feelings (about being buried at Graceland) are great,” she said.

“That’s, you know, what I want and wanted.”

Priscilla said, “Yes,” when Morgan asked whether she wanted to be buried close to Elvis. Priscilla was married to Elvis from 1967 until 1973.

She responded once again when asked whether it will really happen, “Yes.”

Priscilla Presley will be buried in Graceland, but not close to Elvis Presley, as reported by ‘People’, despite the fact that Priscilla and her granddaughter Riley Keough struck a settlement deal over Lisa Marie Presley’s assets earlier this year.

As per the terms of the deal, which a court formally authorized on Monday, Priscilla will be buried as near to Elvis as feasible without relocating any gravesites that already exist.

In another part of the conversation, Priscilla sent her congratulations to Riley, the 34-year-old granddaughter of Lisa Marie, who passed away five months ago in June and who is now the only trustee of her mother’s estate.

“I’m certain Riley will excel. We’ll chat, but she’s asked me a few questions about what to do, Priscilla added.

“I would want to assist her with Graceland. She really has a successful job of her own and pursues it as well. She has such skill.”
