Starring Teja Sajja Pre-release Sales Bring In Over Rs 26 Crore for HanuMan

The first entry in the long-awaited Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe is expected to be the Telugu film HanuMan (2024), directed by Prasanth Varma and starring Teja Sajja. The film, which is slated for a January 12 global theater release that falls on Makar Sankranti, has drawn notice for both its distinctive plot and its conflict with other big releases, including Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga.

On January 7, the pre-release of HanuMan was held in Hyderabad, and Chiranjeevi, the superstar, was the special guest of honor. Nevertheless, the producers have had difficulties in obtaining theaters in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana due to the film’s conflict with other releases. In spite of this, pre-release financial information has surfaced, indicating a global collection of Rs 26.65 crore.

When the movie opens in theaters, its break-even goal is set at Rs 27.50 crore. With a seeding of Rs 4 crore from the producers in the state, the Nizam area provides a substantial Rs 7.15 crore to the pre-release business. Pre-release sales in Andhra Pradesh were Rs 9.50 crore, increasing the combined revenue for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to Rs 20.65 crore. Pre-release sales in the remainder of India bring in Rs 2 crore, while international receipts top Rs 4 crore.

HanuMan tickets in Telangana Multiplexes cost Rs 295, whilst single-screen tickets in Hyderabad City cost Rs 150. Tickets for single screens in other regions of Andhra Pradesh would cost Rs 110.

The story of the movie centers on a young guy who is endowed by Lord Hanuman with remarkable skills. HanuMan will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese languages, thus its audience is not only restricted to Telugu speakers. Gowrahari, Anudeep Dev, and Krishna Saurabh wrote the soundtrack, while Shivendra handled the film’s photography. In this much-awaited movie, Teja Sajja—who rose to stardom when Zombie Reddy came out in 2021—works with filmmaker Prasanth Varma for the second time.
