Stranger Things Season 5 Production Has Finally Started at Netflix, with a crew photo shared

Production on Stranger Things season 5 has officially begun. Upside Down viewers were teased by the popular Netflix series about paranormal events in small-town America, which posted a photo of the team from the first day of filming with the statement, “THIS IS A CODE RED!” Production on STRANGER THINGS 5 has already started! Given that the production was initially delayed owing to the Hollywood writers’ strike and then again by similar industrial action by the actors’ guild, the announcement has created quite a stir among the fans. The fifth season’s screenplay started soon after the fourth season premiered, however the strike prevented the creators from moving further with the production.

The show’s creators, the Duffer brothers, stars Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Cara Buono, Joe Keery, Amybeth McNulty, Charlie Heaton, Brett Gelman, Maya Hawke, Natalia Dyer, Jamie Campbell Bower, Priah Ferguson, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, and Linda Hamilton (The Terminator), who recently joined the cast and made her first official appearance alongside the cast since her announcement at Netflix’s Tudum fan event last year, are all featured in the photo, which was posted by the Stranger Things X account on Monday. However, there aren’t any further specifics concerning her character at this time.

Stranger Things’ final season will bring the long-running sci-fi horror narrative to an end. The season finale is “quite moving and quite beautiful,” actor David Harbour previously acknowledged to Variety, despite the fact that the actual plot for the final season is still unknown. Filming studios such as Atlanta Filming have revealed on social media that the program is supposedly being shot in Atlanta. The season’s official release date is yet unknown.

The first few lines from the season premiere sequence were teased by the show back in November, bringing back the Upside Down’s well-known melancholy. In line with the spookiness that the program is known for, the first episode will be named “The Crawl.” Our characters will travel back to Hawkins, Indiana, and investigate the background of the Upside Down parallel universe.

According to the Duffer Brothers’ February letter to the fans, “There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes,” the creators may be considering a spin-off, even though the story of Eleven and her friends will come to an end in the fifth season. One of them was announced to be the animated series Stranger Things, which would operate similarly to “Saturday Morning Cartoons” and likely have a vintage aesthetic in accordance with the history of the world.
