Tanishaa Mukerji Explains Kajol’s Absence From Neal ‘n’ Nikki

On the dance reality program Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, Tanishaa Mukerji has been wowing the audience with her fantastic performances one after another. In addition to captivating the audience with her remarkable performances on the program, Arshad Warsi, Farah Khan, and Malaika Arora, among the judges, also praised her. Tanishaa had difficulties in her Bollywood career even though she was Kajol’s sister and the daughter of well-known actor Tanuja. Her breakout performance was in the main part of Yash Raj Films’ Neal N Nikki, alongside Uday Chopra, in 2005. She had previously made her acting debut in the multi-starrer film Sssshhh in 2003. Regretfully, reviews for the movie were not unanimous. It’s interesting to note that Tanishaa’s sister Kajol hasn’t seen the film, maybe because of the conflicting reviews and plenty of kissing scenes.

Tanishaa Mukerji claimed in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, “There was an excessive amount of kissing on TV. It wasn’t until today that my sister viewed the movie. After a little maturation, I even recommend it to my friends’ children to watch. That conservatism is present in our nation.

The actress did admit, however, that she would approach a comparable movie in a different way if it were presented now. Tanishaa said, thinking back to her previous position, “You are shaping the minds of young people.” I wasn’t invested in it sufficiently at the time. Arjun Sablok’s romantic comedy Neal ‘n’ Nikki followed a young lady who broke up with her ex-boyfriend only to try to get back together with him.

When asked whether she felt at ease performing personal parts for the movie, Tanishaa said that it was simpler with Uday Chopra since they were dating at the time of the production. It is said that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is when Uday and Tanishaa initially got together. Tanishaa brought her sister Kajol to the set, where Uday was helping his brother, director Aditya Chopra.

In the same interview, Tanishaa said that her brother-in-law, Ajay Devgn, supported her even if her career did not go as planned. The actress said that Ajay had gotten her a secretary after she had been unemployed for two to three years. There were secretaries back then. Ajay arranged KS Sanjay to be my secretary.

Tanishaa has appeared in many well-known movies, including Sarkar Raj, Tango Charlie, and Sarkar. The actress appeared in Bigg Boss 7 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 reality series prior to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
