The Avengers: Endgame joke from Old Steve Rogers returns after Chris Evans and Joe Biden’s visit at the White House

‘Avengers: Endgame’ memes were all over the place after Chris Evans and President Joe Biden’s meeting this week.

President Biden visited Evans at the White House and gave him credit for his work in educating young people about civic issues. “Thank you for doing this, I appreciate what you’re doing with the kids,” he remarked, expressing gratitude for the actor’s dedication to promoting civic involvement.
Along with jokingly calling Evans “Captain America,” the President also introduced White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to the press at the occasion.
President Biden gave Evans his signature “dark Brandon” sunglasses in an internet video, which the actor graciously accepted. The President posted a picture of the humorous occasion to his account and said, “Chris, I appreciate all you do to encourage young people to become involved in public service and government. Our nation’s future leaders are stepping up and supporting the development of their communities as a result of you.”

Fans’ “Captain America” remarks erupted in response to the meeting’s images and videos, with some making lighthearted allusions to Chris Evans’s “Grandpa Steve” outfit for the meeting with President Biden. Some fans even made a funny comparison between President Biden and Evans’ depiction of the elderly Steve Rogers in “Avengers: Endgame.”
A viewer said, “Who told Chris to dress like Grandpa Steve?”
Someone said, “You know, when they had Chris in makeup as old Steve Rogers, he looked a LOT like Joe Biden.”
Someone else said, “Fun fact: Old Steve Rogers at the end of “Avengers: Endgame” was played by Joe Biden.”
Following the release of “Avengers: Endgame,” fans have been sharing memes on social media that draw attention to how much Chris Evans’ portrayal of an elderly Steve Rogers resembles that of Joe Biden. A deepfake video that transformed the President into the Marvel movie superhero even began to circulate as a result of the startling resemblance.
At the White House, Chris Evans participated in a youth roundtable with Mark Kassen, co-founder of the civic engagement nonprofit A Starting Point. The economy, climate change, and the environment were among the subjects discussed. Co-founded by Evans and Kassen, A Starting Point is a nonpartisan platform that seeks to educate voters by deconstructing important topics via video explainers and content from legislators and public officials.
