The biopic ‘Made in India’ by SS Rajamouli, about the father of Indian cinema, will be released: Our Men Are Prepared

Following the massive success of movies like “Baahbuali” 1 & 2 and “RRR,” director SS Rajamouli is currently preparing to release another big movie. The movie’s teaser, titled “Made in India,” was published by the director on Tuesday. ‘The genesis and ascent’ of Indian cinema is said to be the subject of the movie. Nitin Kakkar will serve as the film’s director, while SS Karthikeya, Varun Gupta, and Rajamouli’s son will serve as the producers.

Dadasaheb Phalke is said to be the subject of the movie’s biography, which was announced with the statement, “Indian cinema has seen several biopics. This is Indian cinema’s biopic. “Made in India” is presented to you by SS Rajamouli.

SS Rajamouli also discussed how the plot of the movie left him “emotional.” When he initially heard the narrative, he said on X, “I was emotionally impacted like nothing else. Making a biography is difficult in and of itself, but coming up with one that centers on the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is much more difficult. Our lads are prepared and enthusiastic. We are proud to present MADE IN INDIA.

The film’s cast has not been revealed in any specifics. Regarding the movie’s director, Nitin Kakkar, he has previously contributed to films like Ram Singh Charlie (2020), Mitron (2018), Notebook (2019), and Jawaani Jaaneman (2020). SS Karthikeya, who was listed as the line producer for “RRR,” also made his debut with “Made In India.”

‘Father of Indian Cinema’ is how Dadasaheb Phalke is referred to. A career spanning over two decades, he produced over 90 full-length films, 27 short films, including the first-ever full-length Indian feature film, Raja Harishchandra, in 1913.

Karthikeya also said on X, “I have wanted to realize my goal of being a producer for years. The time has here. Designed in India Approaching this task with the greatest care. Cheers to the director @nitinrkakkar and my producing partner @VarunG0707.

In the meanwhile, SS Rajamouli was ecstatic with the success of “RRR,” which took home several awards at the recent 95th Academy Awards. The song “Naatu Naatu” won the Oscar for Best Original Song. The song really took home the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. One of the greatest box office successes in Indian film is undoubtedly “RRR.”
