The film “Crew” has had an impressive start at the box office on its first day, featuring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon

“Crew” kicked off its box office journey on a high note, amassing over Rs 8 crore on its debut day at the domestic box office. The heist comedy, directed by Rajesh A Krishnan and starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, revolves around three dedicated friends working as cabin crew for Kohinoor Airlines. Their tranquil lives take a dramatic turn when they find themselves entangled in a web of deceit orchestrated by someone with sinister intentions. Both audiences and critics have lauded the film, offering favorable feedback.

On its opening day, “Crew” garnered an impressive Rs 8.75 crore, signaling a strong start at the box office. The Good Friday holiday provided a boost to its earnings, with major metropolitan areas like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata contributing significantly. The film recorded an overall 26.34% occupancy for its Hindi version on Friday.

With positive word-of-mouth and no competition from new Bollywood releases, expectations are high for “Crew” to see a substantial increase in box office collections on its second day in theaters.

Released across 2000 theaters, “Crew” reportedly had a budget of around 60 crores, inclusive of production and advertising costs. The film premiered in over 75 countries, spanning more than 1100 locations.

“Crew” offers a comedic take on the challenges faced by women in the aviation industry.
