In both Hinduism and Jainism, a recognized ceremony is called Pran Pratishtha. It entails putting a deity’s idol in a hallowed place, such a temple, after a sanctification procedure. ‘Pran’ means life power, while ‘Pratishtha’ means construction. Consequently, the act of summoning the life power into the idol is known as Pran Pratishtha, or the consecration rite.
In all, 121 Acharyas will perform the ceremonies necessary for the Ram Mandir to be dedicated. During the auspicious ‘Abhijeet Muhurta’ on January 22, from 12:20 pm to 1 pm, the idol’s Pran Pratistha will occur. For this momentous occasion, the temple trust has invited nearly 7,000 people, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi serving as the prime guest.
