“The Real Star” is how Navya Naveli refers to Nani Jaya Bachchan

“What the Hell, Navya,” a podcast hosted by Navya Naveli Nanda, is becoming popular due to its frank discussions with her mother, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and grandmother, Jaya Bachchan. The audience values the first-hand accounts presented on the programme, particularly Jaya’s unreserved statements and anecdotes, which have made her a beloved figure. The true star of the podcast is Nani.

People like Navya because she expresses her ideas honestly and without reservation, she told NDTV.
The Gen Z entrepreneur said that while Jaya’s statements are open and honest, they are never changed or withheld. She never requests that I censor or remove anything. People referring to her as “nani” in the comments area is adorable, and it’s great that she’s become everyone’s “nani,” Navya said.
Navya’s brother, actor Agastya Nanda, of “The Archies,” made an open visit on the podcast recently,

sharing his ideas on mental health and masculinity. Navya said that her favourite episode was the one with her brother in it. Agastya was a lot of fun to have. Among the most well-liked episodes this season was this one. He kept the topic grounded while introducing yet another level of humour. He made care to emphasise the similarities between Nani, Mom, and me—just as in real life’, Navya said.
Navya said that even though the three of them talk about each other’s lives and other socio-political concerns, they don’t try to be “politically correct” on the programme.

“Nothing is sanitised by us. We are being vulnerable and talking about ourselves as we discuss our own experiences and adventures. Whether it’s me talking about my career, Mom talking about her experiences, or Nani talking about her life, what we share is genuine and unfiltered. In addition, we discuss many other topics pertaining to events occurring in our society. Navya said, “Anything we do is in the public eye anyway, so there is no need for us to sanitise the content. We don’t want to make it only about ourselves.”

In response to a succession of lighthearted rapid-fire queries, Navya continues, “Eating is my mom and Nani’s love language. Nani cooks delicious Bengali cuisine. She said that Amitabh, her grandmother, gives her advice to “follow her heart.” “He asks me to speak up and to stick to my convictions,” she said in closing.
