Veteran Kannada Performer Dwarakish Passes Away at 81 from Heart arrest

Veteran Kannada actor, producer, and director Dwarakish died of a heart attack at his Bengaluru residence. He was eighty-one. Bungle Shama Rao Dwarakanath, also called Dwarakish, gained recognition across Karnataka for his humorous performances. He starred in around a hundred motion pictures and was involved in the directing and production of about fifty more.

The seasoned professional is well-known for his comedic parts in movies like Bhakta Kumbara, Guru Shishyaru, Mayor Muthanna, and others.

Prominent producer Dwarakish had great success with his film “Mayor Muthanna,” which starred Bharathi and the late Kannada actor Dr. Rajkumar in key parts. Furthermore, Dwarakish is acknowledged for having brought renowned Hindi playback singer Kishore Kumar to the Kannada cinema industry with the popular song “Aadu aata Aadu.”
Politicians and well-known members of the film business both sent their sympathies to the actor’s family in light of his passing. Bommai conveyed her sorrow over the Kannada actor’s passing in a post on X. “I am really sorry to hear about Mr. Dwarakish’s demise. He was a legendary Kannada film producer, director, and actor. His departure depletes the Kannada art scene. I ask God to give Dwarakish’s enormous fan following and family the fortitude to deal with his passing. In a post on X, Bommai wrote, “Om Shantih.”
