Vishal Kotian, a TV actor, is preparing for an action-packed cameo as Bajarangi in “Maitree”

Vishal Kotian, a well-known TV actor best known for his roles in “Akbar Ka Bal… Birbal” and “Bigg Boss 15,” will be featured in an action-packed cameo in the drama series “Maitree” as Bajarangi, an auto-rickshaw driver and devotee of Hanuman.

The story of “Maitree” follows Maitree (Shrenu Parikh) and Nandini (Bhaweeka Chaudhary), who transitioned from being soul sisters to ferocious rivals. Recently, the programme made a brief six-month jump, allowing viewers to see Maitree’s first spouse Saaransh (played by Kunal Karan Kapoor) returning from the dead to wreck havoc in her life.

Vishal expressed his excitement for his appearance, saying, “I am really thrilled about this cameo. Actually, the only reason I could take it on is because it’s a cameo. Numerous television projects have been offered to me, but since I am working on a film and an OTT project, I am unable to take on a daily soap. I like playing a variety of roles because, in my opinion, it’s crucial for an actor to push themselves.

He said that when he learned that his character Bajrangi is a follower of Lord Hanuman and that it would be an action-packed cameo, he made the decision to accept it without even pausing to think about it.

Maitree will be seen frantically looking for her husband Harsh (Samarth Jurel) in the forthcoming episodes. Bajrangi (Vishal Kotian) would play the role of a ‘rickshawala’ in this scenario and serve as a disguised blessing for Maitree.

The episode is based on the Ramayana, where Bajarangi aids Maitree in locating Harsh in a manner similar to how Hanuman assisted Rama in locating Sita.
