Director Atlee touched star Shah Rukh Khan’s feet after the actor’s victory at a recent Mumbai award presentation. Atlee was presented with the Best Director honors for “Jawan” on Sunday night during the event. In the movie, which was one of the greatest hits of 2023, Shah Rukh Khan played two roles.

The clip was posted by well-known Instagram paparazzo Manav Manglani, who caught a unique interaction between the two during the function. In the video, Atlee stood up with his hands clasped in reverence as the gathering erupted in cheers upon the winner’s declaration. Atlee, who was seated next to Shah Rukh Khan, then touched the actor’s feet to express his respect.

Grinning, Shah Rukh made an unsuccessful effort to talk Atlee out of it before giving him a loving hug and a kiss. After then, Atlee went to the stage, where he was met and given the trophy by actress Rani Mukerji. This resulted in a brief conversation and smiles between the two. Atlee wore a blue and white patterned outfit along with shoes for the event, while Shah Rukh opted for a chic black jacket, pants, and shoes.

Jawan, which was released on September 7 of last year, included important parts for Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone. Critics gave the movie favorable reviews, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Several celebrities also complimented Jawan, the Shah Rukh Khan film that made over Rs 1,100 crore globally. These celebrities included Karan Johar, Allu Arjun, SS Rajamouli, Kangana Ranaut, Sidharth Malhotra, Tiger Shroff, and Ameesha Patel.

Atlee is now working on his first Bollywood film, Baby John, which is an action-packed thriller and an adaptation of his 2016 Tamil smash Theri. It is written and directed by Kalees, and it stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role. Atlee is co-producing the movie. Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, Sanya Malhotra (making a surprise appearance), Sheeba Chaddha, and Rajpal Yadav are among the star-studded cast members. There are several rumors that he may work on his next two films alongside Salman Khan and Ram Charan.
