What Alec Baldwin Has To Say About Having His Wife Hilaria’s Eighth Child

To suggest that the Baldwins are a single, large, happy family would not be incorrect. The youngest of Alec Baldwin’s seven children was born in September 2022; he is married to Hilaria Baldwin. The 2012 wedding pair has four sons: Rafael Thomas, Leonardo Angel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David, and Eduardo Pao Lucas; they also have three daughters: Carmen Gabriela, Maria Lucia Victoria, and Ilaria Catalina Irena. Along with his ex, Kim Basinger, the Boss Baby actor is also a father to Ireland Baldwin, their daughter. The actor, who is already a father of eight, has spoken out lately about his desire to have additional kids.

During a recent podcast episode with Paul Anka and Skip Bronson, the 66-year-old revealed his intentions to expand his family. Alec explained that he doesn’t want to have another kid and that he wants to work right now when presenter Paul Anka questioned whether he wanted additional children.

Speaking About Having Another Child, Alec Baldwin

The actor teased the audience at the start of the podcast, saying he is the only one who sends four children off to school in the morning and returns home to find three still waiting for him. He recalled how, after falling in love and being married, he and his wife went through a phase of desiring a large family.

“I am a mother of eight kids. My eldest daughter is with me. She resides in Oregon with her partner and their baby. After we were married, we had seven children. It’s absurd,” Alec continued.

The actor said, “Oh man, how dare you ask me that question,” when asked whether he intended to have more children in the future. I believe I’m finished. I discovered that my interest in my profession decreased with age. You know, I want to work and I like working, therefore, I’m interested. However, I don’t believe they produce nearly as many intriguing movies as they used to. We’re all older, too. I make an effort not to repeat whatever I’ve done in the past.

Hilaria Baldwin Does Not Want to Have Any More Children

Hilaria Baldwin had a similar sentiment earlier in a Romper cover story, saying that their youngest kid was “most definitely, almost completely the last baby.” Hilaria said her husband hasn’t “committed” to having any more children yet, even if she may not be interested in having any more.
