Blades and black stones suggest an occult connection in the trio’s Arunachal death

Police have discovered documents and testimony that support their suspicions that the three Keralites who died in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday were not interested in occultism, adding to the enigma surrounding their deaths.

In a hotel in Hapoli, Arunachal, the remains of a couple from Thiruvananthapuram, 39-year-old Devi Madhavan and his 39-year-old wife Naveen Thomas, together with their friend Arya Nair, were discovered with lacerations on their wrists.

The women’s bracelets with black stones, which are thought to be part of the equipment needed for occult operations, were taken out of the room by Arunachal police officers after they received a tip from their Keralan colleagues about the trio’s potential affiliation with a cult.

Recovered were three razor blades made of stainless steel that were used to sever the corpses. The idea that the incisions were done as part of some kind of occult ritual has gained support due to the use of distinct knives.

Police’s suspicions were bolstered by Arya’s family’s claim that Naveen forced her to join a cult.

Kerala police have ordered the creation of special squads to look into the event in the interim.

Simultaneously, the CCTV footage from the hotel where the three were staying and Ziro, a town located two and a half hours drive from Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, has been examined closely by the state police.

To find out whether the two had any local connections, the images are being examined. On the surface, it doesn’t seem like they did. Ziro SP Keni Bagra told TNIE, “We are attempting to locate the taxi driver who left them off at the hotel so we can see whether they spoke with anybody along the way.

Former coworkers are horrified by the death.

The demise of the three surprised many who knew them as friends and coworkers. At a private school in the state capital, Devi taught German, while Arya taught French. Devi and Arya were both really skilled instructors who were always engaged in their profession, according to their former coworkers.

Family believe Naveen forced Arya to join a cult.

The majority of the tribal tribes living in Ziro are isolated and unaffiliated with any cult. We would learn about such operations if there was even the slightest indication of them. We still don’t know why the three traveled this far. We’re confused by it,” Keni said.

According to Keni, it’s believed that Naveen sliced the woman’s torso before severing his wrist. The severe cuts on the woman’s body, according to the forensic surgeon who performed the autopsy, may have been caused by a skilled individual.

The officer said that two phones and a laptop were found in the room, along with the key to Naveen’s vehicle, a suicide letter signed by the three of them, and Naveen’s heartfelt message to his mother notifying her of his choice to take his life.

According to Arya’s relatives, Naveen encouraged her to join a cult. The group on the internet discussed paraphysics.

“She could have been drawn into occultism by Naveen. A cousin said that Arya’s marriage was set to happen later this month. “Arya maintained a close friendship with Naveen and Devi and they used to meet regularly, including in their houses,” the relative claimed.
