An Indian guy was fatally stabbed in the United Kingdom

A 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 38-year-old man of Indian descent who was slain in a deadly stabbing outside an apartment complex in south London, according to Scotland Yard, which said its Specialist Crime Command is in charge of the investigation.

After being discovered on Friday with stab wounds outside a residence in Southampton Way in Southwark, Aravind Sasikumar passed away.

Salman Salim, 25, was charged with murder on Saturday by the Metropolitan Police after he appeared before Croydon Magistrates’ Court to be remanded in jail.

Tuesday is Salim’s planned appearance date at the Old Bailey court in London.

Police were alerted at 1:27 a.m. (local time) on June 16 when a male with stab wounds was discovered outside a Southampton Way residence, according to a statement from the Met Police.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. Aravind passed away at the spot despite the efforts of the rescue responders. He died as a consequence of chest stab wounds, according to a post-mortem examination performed on Friday, June 16,” the statement stated.

According to the Met Police, investigators from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have notified and are assisting Sasikumar’s family, who are believed to be from Kerala.

“Horrific murder on Coleman Road/Southampton Way. Sincere condolences to the deceased family. As soon as the event occurred on Friday, Labour Party MP for Camberwell and Peckham in south London Harriet Harman tweeted, “Contact police if you have any info that can help bring whoever did this to justice.”

In addition to an ambulance crew, medical personnel in two quick response vehicles, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer, according to the London Ambulance Service, were sent to the location.

“We also sent a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance, which was made up of a doctor and a paramedic travelling in a vehicle. A individual was tragically declared deceased at the site despite the best efforts of our responders, a spokeswoman said.

This is the third deadly stabbing of Indian descent in the UK this week, and the second one in London.

Tejaswini Kontham, a 27-year-old Hyderabadi student who had just graduated, was assassinated earlier this week at a residence in north London.

Akhila, her friend who was hospitalised after the stabbing incident in Wembley, was charged with both her murder and the attempted murder of that friend by a 23-year-old Brazilian citizen.

Grace O’Malley Kumar, a British Indian adolescent hockey player from the University of Nottingham, and a university buddy were both stabbed in a separate incident that occurred in Nottingham, around 205 kilometres north of London.

A 31-year-old guy of Portuguese and West African ancestry is still being held on murder charges.
