At the White House Thanksgiving Event, 81-year-old Biden confuses Taylor Swift with “Britney”

On Monday, US President Joe Biden made an error while referring to American music sensation Taylor Swift as “Britney” (Spears) in comments made at a White House Thanksgiving celebration. Speaking about the yearly custom, Biden said that Liberty and Bell-named turkeys have to show “patience” and defeat fierce competition in order to win the title.

One might argue that it was more difficult than obtaining a ticket for Britney’s Renaissance tour. It’s sort of warm in Brazil right now, where she is,” Biden said. This latest gaffe occurred as Biden celebrated his 81st birthday by making frequent jokes about how old he was, despite the White House fiercely defending his endurance and dismissing polls.

“AGE IS NOT A CONCERN.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Monday that people shouldn’t concentrate primarily on Biden’s age. During a news conference, Jean-Pierre said, “Our perspective is, it’s not about age, it’s about the president’s experience,” pointing out that Biden had been successful in getting numerous significant pieces of legislation passed by Congress.

Jean-Pierre said, “What we say is that we have to judge him by what he’s done, not by his numbers.” “I would challenge anybody to match the president’s tenacity, intelligence, and capacity to do this on behalf of the American people. Any day of the week, anybody. At the White House event, the US President, for his part, tried comedy. As he pardoned Liberty and Bell, the Thanksgiving turkeys, Biden said to the gathering on the South Lawn, “By the way, it’s my birthday today.” “I would like you to know that reaching 60 is not easy,” the president said, chuckling. “Majority.”

“OLDEST PRESIDENT OF THE US”

Noting that the pardoning ceremony held prior to Thanksgiving was held 76 years ago, Biden said, “I want you to know I wasn’t there — for the first one.” Even though surveys indicate that this is not a humorous problem, the oldest president in US history, Joe Biden, has spent months trying to diffuse the situation with comedy.

According to an August survey conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, 69 percent of Democrats and 77 percent of American adults thought that Biden was too elderly to serve as president for another four years. Biden may face former President Donald Trump again when he runs for a second term.
