Blast In Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province Kills 11 Laborers

The media reported on Sunday that a terrorist strike in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province claimed the lives of at least 11 laborers and wounded another two.

According to Deputy Commissioner Rehan Gul Khattak, terrorists blew up a van carrying 16 laborers on Saturday near Gul Mir Kot in Shawal Tehsil. This was reported by Geo News.

According to Khattak, up to 11 construction workers who were employed by a government building that was still under construction died immediately, while two others had serious injuries, and three more went missing.

According to officials, the wounded and fatalities from the South Waziristan tehsil of Makin and Wana were sent to a nearby hospital.  He said that efforts are still being made to identify and find the missing employees.

In the meanwhile, miscreants launched a rocket at the truck carrying four members of the Bomb Disposal Squad earlier on Saturday in the Makin tehsil of Upper South Waziristan.
