Indian trainee and student pilot perished in the Philippines aircraft disaster

Following the recovery of a small plane’s wreckage following a collision in the Philippines, officials reported the deaths of an Indian student and his instructor pilot.

 

According to the official Philippine News Agency, Anshum Rajkumar Konde and Captain Edzel John Lumbao Tabuzo were on board the Cessna 152 airplane that vanished in the province of Cagayan on Tuesday.

 

The remains of Tabuzo and Konde are being retrieved from the accident scene in the province of Apayao, according to the agency.

 

 

 

A medical and rescue team traveling in a Philippine Air Force Black Hawk aircraft on Wednesday discovered the plane’s debris and corpses.

 

The plane was traveling from Laoag International Airport in Ilocos Norte to Tuguegarao City Airport in Cagayan.

 

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said that the last signal transmission from the aircraft was received 35 nautical miles to the northwest of Alcala, Cagayan.

 

All four occupants of a Cessna that crashed near the crater of the Mayon Volcano in February perished.
