San Mateo deaths: US police claim a techie from Kerala murdered his wife and children before taking his own life

A family of Keralan descent died in San Mateo, California, and there are signs of both violence and suicide. On Monday, the bodies of Anand Henry, 38, and his Kollam-born wife Alice Priyanka, 37, as well as their twins, Nathan and Noah, 4, were discovered inside their home.

Anand murdered his wife, killed his twin children, and then shot himself, according to CBS News. While Alice and Anand’s remains were discovered inside the bathroom, the children’s bodies were discovered in the bedroom.

According to the police, postmortem examination results would be the only way to determine the cause of death for minors.

The remains were discovered by the local police on Monday after they investigated the deceased’s residence in response to a 911 call. Nothing indicates that the house was broken into, according to the police. According to CBS News, the spouse filed for divorce in December 2016 but does not seem to have followed through.

There were familial conflicts between the pair, according to the deceased’s relatives, who spoke with TNIE. They would not, however, provide any further information. Alice and Anand were TKM Engineering College alums.

Alice had graduated in civil engineering, whereas Anand had graduated in mechanical engineering. The pair worked for an IT firm and had lived in San Mateo County for the previous nine years.
