Three wounded, one killed in fire at German asylum center

Authorities in Nordlingen, a town in the southern German state of Bavaria, have reported that an asylum center fire resulted in the death of one person and three other people suffering from slight to severe injuries.

According to a police official, the cause of the fire that started on Sunday is still being looked into. The lodging is unfit for habitation, according to the Xinhua news agency.

The temporary residence for the roughly fifty people is a hall.
