US election: According to a recent opinion survey, Trump leads Biden in six of the seven battleground states

According to the most recent opinion survey, President Joe Biden is lagging behind his chief rival, Donald Trump, in six of the seven key states ahead of the US election that is set for November.

According to the Wall Street Journal study, voters are generally unhappy with the state of the country’s economy and have serious concerns about Joe Biden’s qualifications and effectiveness in his position.

In the six battleground states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina, Trump has a two-to-eight percentage point edge. But in Wisconsin, Biden has a three-point advantage against Trump.

Positive opinions of the president’s job performance are outnumbered by unfavorable opinions in every state included in the study by at least 16 percentage points, with four states having a difference of more than 20 points. In contrast, just one state, Arizona, awards Trump a bad job assessment during his tenure in the White House, with negative ratings outweighing good ones by 1%, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Real Clear Politics, which follows all the major national polls, indicates that this fall’s contest between Trump and Biden is very close. Major nationwide surveys on average indicate that Trump is ahead of Biden by 0.8 percentage points.

“Last month, Biden and Trump both decisively emerged as their party’s presumed contenders; but, a rerun of the 2020 race will provide a protracted and challenging campaign for each contender. A few battleground states will probably decide the victor in a contest that is predicted to be very close, The Hill newspaper said on Wednesday.
