Chaitra Navratri 2024: Calendar, Time, Muhurta, and Additional Information
On April 9, Chaitra Navratri will begin and last for nine days. The arrival of Ram Navami will mark the end of this Navratri. Pandit Pankaj Pathak said that Maa Durga stays on Earth for nine days to bless her devotees during Chaitra Navratri. The Pratipada day of Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra marks the beginning of Chaitra Navratri. According to popular belief, goddess Durga will make an earthly visit this year on her steed. The Hindu calendar predicts that on April 8 at 11:50 p.m., the Pratipada day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will begin. In addition, it will conclude at 8:30 p.m. on April 9, the start of Chaitra Navratri.
Chaitra Navratri will take place over nine days this time. As to the Hindu scriptures, Tithi’s appearance during Navratri is deemed unlucky. On April 17, the Chaitra Navratri will come to an end. Ghatasthapana Muhurta, on the other hand, runs from 06:02 am to 10:16 am (four hours and fourteen minutes), while Abhijit Muhurta for Kalash Sthapana is scheduled to run from 11:57 am to 12:48 am (fifty-one minutes).
During this Chaitra Navratri, Maa Durga is said to ride her horse and come. However, because it is associated with natural calamities and warfare, this vehicle is not seen as fortunate. The chariots of Goddess Durga are said to portend both good and bad outcomes. It is thought to have a significant effect on both human life and environment. The Maa Durga’s modified chariot signifies a shift of authority.

The seventh day is Saptami Tithi Maa Kalratri Puja on April 15, 2024.
Eighth day: Ashtami Tithi Maa Mahagauri Puja, 16 April 2024.
