IIT Roorkee’s MBA Admissions are Now Open; See Details

New Delhi: Applications for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program are being accepted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. The school provides a regular residential curriculum that is broken up into eight terms over the course of two academic years.
According to the official website, “In the first year, the course structure is intended to provide understanding of the fundamental management ideas and processes.

The last year students choose their areas of specialization, and this is improved to advanced knowledge and practice in those areas.”

January 31, 2024 is the deadline for submitting online applications. By the final week of February 2024, the list of selected applicants will be made public. Interview calls will be extended to the applicants by the last week of March and the first week of April in 2024. By May 2024, the findings will be announced.

Qualification standards
Applicants must have a graduate degree in any subject with a minimum GPA of 60% in the CAT-2023 exam, or a professional certificate recognized by UGC as being equal to a university degree.

Students in their last year may also apply. These applicants will, however, be accepted provisionally until they fulfill all prerequisites for the qualifying degree by the deadline, with a minimum percentage and CGPA.

Graduates of IITs (admitted via IIT-JEE) who have a CGPA of 7.0 or above on a 10-point scale are excused from CAT 2023 requirements.

Interested applicants may register for the program by going to the institute’s official website. They’ll need to send in the registration costs and a few papers.
