Kerala SET is scheduled for July 2024. Starts with lbscentre.kerala.gov.in for registration

The Kerala State Eligibility Test (Kerala SET) 2024 for the July session is now accepting online registrations, and the procedure is being run by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology. Those who meet the requirements may register for the test by going to lbscentre.kerala.gov.in, the official website of the LBS Center. The application deadline is April 15.

April 17 is the deadline for online payments. The time for application corrections will start at 11 a.m. on April 18 and expire at midnight on April 20. The official announcement states that the test date and results will be revealed at a later date.

KERALA SET 2024: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a master’s degree in the appropriate disciplines with at least 50% of the possible points or an equivalent grade in order to be eligible for the KSET. They should also have an equivalent qualification or a B.Ed. in any field from Kerala University. The age limit for applicants to the Kerala SET is not applicable.

How to Register for Kerala Set 2024
Step 1: Visit lbscentre.kerala.gov.in, the official website.

Step 2: Click the application link labeled “SET July 2024” located on the webpage.

Step 3: Click the link labeled “Online Registration.”

Step 4: Proceed with the application procedure by registering on the site.

Step 5: After that, upload the necessary files, pay the application fee, and send the form.

Step 6: Print the acknowledgment form so you have it for later use.

SET 2024 KERALA: APPLICATION FEE
Candidates in the general and OBC categories must pay a fee of Rs. 1000, while candidates from the SC, ST, and disabled categories must pay Rs. 500.

There are two papers in the exam: I and II. Paper II is a topic-specific exam depending on the candidate’s postgraduate (PG) level of specialization, while Paper I is split into two parts: General Knowledge (Part A) and Aptitude in Teaching (Part B). Paper II will provide 31 different themes to choose from. Every paper will be conducted for 120 minutes, and wrong responses will not result in a deduction of points.
