SHRESHTA NETS 2024: Applications Accepted Until April 4; Registration Opens @ shreshta.ntaonline.in

The online application for the 2024 National Entrance Test for the Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Classes in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) is now open, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA). The National Testing Agency’s official website, shreshta.ntaonline.in, is where applicants may submit their applications.

There is no application fee for the online registration procedure, and the instructions are listed on the registration page. Candidates have until March 12 or April 4 to complete the online form. By giving them admission to the best private residential schools nationwide that are connected to the CBSE, the SHRESHTA program seeks to assist kids from Scheduled Caste (SC) families.

The program is for SC children in grades 9 and 11, and the state will pay for their complete education, including tuition and room and board. It will help 3,000 kids who do well on the SHRESHTA 2024 National Entrance Test—1,500 students from class 11 and 1500 students from class 9. The exam may be taken in Hindi or English by the applicants. Three hours, or 180 minutes, will pass throughout the test. On May 24, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, it will take place.

ESSENTIAL DATES FOR SHRESHTA NETS 2024
The following is a schedule of significant dates for the SHRESTHA 2024 National Entrance Examination.

Online application form submission dates: March 12, 2024, to April 4, 2024 (till 5 PM)

Corrections on the application form may be made between April 6, 2024 and April 8, 2024.

Release of the admit card: May 12, 2024

Examination date: May 24, 2024

Outcome: Four to six weeks after the test.

SHRESHTA NETS 2024: CRITERIA FOR Eligibility Students must be members of the designated castes.

Pupils have to be enrolled in the eighth or tenth grade.

The yearly income of the parents shouldn’t be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.

Applicants for the ninth grade must be between the ages of 16 and 12 on March 31, 2024, or born between April 1, 2008, and March 31, 2012.

Applicants for the eleventh grade must be between the ages of 18 and 14 on March 31, 2024, or born between April 1, 2006, and March 31, 2010.

Exam Pattern for Shreshta Nets (2024)
There will be 100 questions in the test, and the paper will be worth 400 marks. The questions are divided up as follows: Thirty questions from the fields of mathematics, science, social science, and general awareness, and twenty questions from each. There will be no deduction for wrong or unanswered questions, and candidates will earn four points for each right response.
